Itinerary
Depart from Cusco to enjoy a breakfast buffet in the Sacred Valley.
Ascend to Abra Málaga for a safety briefing prior to an epic 3-hour bike descent
through snow-capped mountains and the mysterious cloud forest down to
Huamanmarca.
Short stops along the descent to ensure good condition of the bikes and other
equipment
Arrive in Santa Maria, a charming town nestled in the Andes where lunch will be
served.
Optional Activity: Take on the thrilling Class III & IV+ rapids of the Vilcanota River

After breakfast, the scenic trek to Santa Teresa begins with a gradual ascent. There
will be occasional stops to learn about local flora and fauna and visit a traditional
family home to learn their customs and traditions.
The hike continues through a section of the ancient Inca Trail that offers
magnificent views of the Huancarccasa Canyon and majestic Salkantay.
Descend to Quellomayo for a sumptuous lunch and a well-deserved rest on
hammocks.
Cap the day with a rejuvenating soak in the healing thermal baths of Cocalmayo.
Travel via private transportation to Santa Teresa for your overnight stay.
Optional: Approximately two (2) hours of exhilarating zipline adventure
Fuel up with breakfast before boarding your transport to the hydroelectric station, gateway to Machu Picchu National Park.
Hike to Aguas Calientes, passing the Intihuatana archaeological site.
